Camping out in the woods is often fun. However, this fun sometimes becomes a major problem when things like storms, wild animals, bugs, unhygienic food, smelly surrounding, etc appear during your camp. Although it is still preferred by millions of adventurers, there is another kind of adventure that is taking over camping. It is known as Glamping (glamorous camping).

The tents for example are designed in way that pleases the adventurer with bright lights and designer walls, unlike those traditional tents that are made up of drab canvas. The type of activities that the adventurer would be involved in is very similar to that of the traditional tours. However, the focus is more on customer service and convenience. Visitors don’t have to travel their way to the outdoor camping site. They are given comfortable transportation, which picks and drops them whenever required. Glamping also offer five-course meals, drinks, and other so on. Many glamping operators purposely give some inconvenience to their customers, so they a feel of camping.

The demand for glamping has perked up quite rapidly in the past few years. Initially, only wealthy and celebrities used to avail of such pleasure. However, now any individual can hire such tour operators and go glamping. You will find scores of glamoing operators on the internet.

What is Glamping

The idea of glamping seems to have been from the camping done by the rich earlier. They wanted to experience the nature, but did not intend to be trapped in mini-sized tents or hot long walks or unhealthy food. Common people have now understood the importance of carrying some convenient tools with them when they are out for camping. However, this business is still in its nascent and it will take some time for people to accept it as a common practice.
